"I ate it." ("we") has established this Privacy Policy in order to protect the personal information of users and to process related complaints promptly and smoothly in accordance with Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act.
Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information)
"I ate it." processes personal information for the following purposes. Processed personal information will not be used for purposes other than those stated below, and in case the purpose of use changes, we will take necessary measures in accordance with Article 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act, such as obtaining separate consent.
- User identification, confirmation of intention to register, and maintenance and management of membership qualifications and member-only services.
- Prevention of fraudulent use of the service, delivery of notices.
- Provision of services, provision of content, handling of inquiries, and complaint resolution.
- Marketing and advertising.
- Providing participation opportunities in event promotions.
Article 2 (Processing and Retention Period of Personal Information)
- "I ate it." processes and retains personal information within the scope of the consent obtained from the user or within the period required by the Act, such as the personal information retention and usage period stipulated by law.
- The processing and retention periods for each personal information item are as follows:
- Membership registration information collected for service provision: Until withdrawal from the service.
- Personal information retention periods required by law
- Act on the Protection of Communications Secrets
- Information related to service usage (connection logs): 3 months.
- Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.
- Records of complaints or dispute resolution by consumers: 3 years.
- Records related to contracts or withdrawal of subscriptions: 5 years.
Article 3 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)
- "I ate it." processes personal information within the scope specified in Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information), and personal information is provided to third parties only when the user consents or when there are special regulations under Articles 17 and 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act.
- "I ate it." does not provide personal information to third parties, and if such provision becomes necessary, user consent will be obtained.
